How To Market To Your List REPEATEDLY, Without Pissing Them Off :-)

The following is an article that I first shared with one of my
Private Facebook Groups, but then decided to share with you too

Full Title: "How To Market To Your List, Getting Your
Advertisements Right In Front Of Their Faces REPEATEDLY, Without
Pissing Them Off" :-)
The short answer is that you funnel them into a membership site,
where inside the membership area you tease them by showing them
items that they have not purchased and are not entitled to.
As your members log into your site, and see your subtle pitches
over and over again, they will often choose to buy some of those
products.
I'll give you TWO real-world examples of EXACTLY how I do this.
The first ways is that I have numerous membership sites built on
the GrooveMember platform.
That platform allows you to send your members to a PORTAL to sign
in.
In your portal, you can show them as many of your memberships as
you choose to.
These "memberships" can be just areas you have set up to deliver
a product.
For example, you could sell some course that you purchased PLR
to, and deliver that content regardless of format, inside a
membership area.
You could even set up free memberships, delivering some freebie
via GrooveMember,and showing them all of the other LOCKED
memberships that they don't have access too.
You can also set up your memberships so that when your members
log out, they are sent wherever you choose including your portal
or even the sales page for another product.
You can also have a section for recommended, optional resources
inside your membership, and you can also recommend products and
services inside your lessons or whatever is given to your members
as part of their membership.

All 10 of those sites give you the option of either giving away
or selling the Silver Memberships. You just choose the
appropriate link... one link sends them to a page offering the
membership for free, and another one to a page offering the
membership for $27.
Whether you give away or sell the Silver Memberships, members are
offered the Gold upgrade both inside the site as they consume the
content, and in followup emails automatically sent by the system.
The system also send out follow up emails offering a variety of
affiliate products using YOUR affiliate links.
So, your job is simply to drive traffic to these sites and they
make sales FOR YOU.
You can also upload banners inside your membership sites that
can be linked to ANYTHING that you choose.
You also set what URL you want your members to be sent to when
they log out!
You can also link your autoresponders to each site via API, so
that when someone joins one of your sites, you can automatically
add them to a list outside of the system.
I have each of my sites configured to subscribe members to an
Aweber autoresponder. I have 10 DIFFERENT autoresponders set up
for this, building me 10 very niche or sub-niche specific lists
so that when I choose to send a broadcast to one of these lists I
can send them ONLY correspondences about a niche that they have
already shown me that they are interested in.
CONFESSION: I set up these 10 autoresponders over 6 months ago,
but have NEVER emails any of the lists. Part of my reason is
because the system itself sends the members email periodically,
but not very often. I probably should ALSO send them broadcast
from time to time, when I come across something appropriate to
tell them about.
I have roughly 300,000 subscribers on other autoresponders, so I
can afford to be lazy.
In-case you're wondering HOW I can afford to have so many
subscribers on any autoresponder system in the first place, back
in 2003 I purchased a private label of the 1ShoppingCart system.

The private label that I purchased from 1SC pays me 50% of the
recurring revenues paid by users of the system that sign up via
my private label.
I also allow affiliate to promote ProfitAutomation, paying them
30% of the monthly subscription fees. That 30% comes out of my
50%. The parent company always gets their 50%.
This is actually a fairly lucrative license to have. Once a
person builds a database on the platform, or has hundreds of
links on the platform all tied into the shopping-cart, they are
VERY hesitant to leave. I've been receiving commission checks
from 1SC since 2003 from both my own efforts and those of my
affiliates :-)
When I purchased the ProfitAutomation private label, they set me
up with a free account with a capacity of 200,000 subscribers.
After I hit 200,000 subscribers I contacted tech support to ask
what I needed to do to bump that up. They bumped the account
capacity to 500,000 at no charge :-)
However, I don't build a lot of list on my own private label
BECAUSE Aweber provides me with better deliverability. To me,
deliverability is MUCH more important than list size.
Don't get me wrong, emails sent from my ProfitAutomation account
do get delivered, but testing shows me that a lower percentage
actually get in my subscribers inboxes than with Aweber!
