Using Ebay To Give Your Online Business A NICE Boost - Nothing For Sale :-)

Recently I decided to do spring cleaning a little early and sell
off some things around the house that I no longer needed.

The truth is that I had become a bit of a pack rat, and I was
even beginning to embarrass myself.

So, I went over to YouTube to look for some tips on selling
things on Ebay.

WARNING, you probably don't want to go down that rabbit hole!  It
can be very addictive and time consuming!

There are ebayers who source all kinds of physical goods from
yards sales, thrift shops, flea markets, estate sales, and
liquidators.

I do some of these things too, especially with liquidators, and
I'll be sharing some of my experiences in future issues of my
ezine, probably on social media posts, and in a new YouTube
channel that I'm just now getting off the ground.

Many of the more successful ebayers, earning $1,000 - $2,000 per
week, have YouTube channels, and are "celebrities" within that
space.  The top dogs make over $1 million per year.

Seeing how they operate, and listening to an old CD that I
received long ago when I was a member of Yanik Silver's
Underground Secret Society, has turned me into an ebayer.

However, I don't plan on spending a lot of time sourcing goods as
previously mentioned.  I DO have a couple of sources that I will
check in with where I can get things that sell well, and yet the
niches aren't that crowded.

I DO plan on selling my own Internet Marketing stuff on eBay, and
other similar sites.  I'm talking courses, and CDs and DVDs that
I created myself OR purchased resale licenses to.

In my first week of fiddling around on eBay, I listed just over
70 items, and was surprised at how fast I sold stuff... including
many things that I was contemplating throwing away.

In also listed 58 items in a marketplace that I will be telling
you about in a newsletter issue within the next week. Those items
ranged in price from $10 to $10,000... and I actually sold one of
the $10,000 items... which is digital

Stay tuned!

I raked in over $1000 in just 3 days on eBay :-)

My plan as it pertains to IM is simple, I'll just list my
courses, and wait for them to sell.  If you list them properly,
they can stay listed virtually indefinitely.

When someone orders a course on CD or DVD, I'll include a cover
letter that:

1) Thanks them

2) Mentions related training that I have, giving them links to
order directly from me (saving eBay fees).  Depending upon what I
have going on, I see no reason for those links not to be for
affiliate products :-)

3) Invites them to join my Preferred  Customer List (email) to be
notified when I offer new products... at a discount to them.

Being an ebayer can be as easy or as complicated as you want to
make it.

I generally charge a fixed price for each item, rather that run
an auction.

I have the customer pay the shipping fees, get most of my
shipping boxes free from USPS.com, print shipping labels out in
my office, and have the packages picked up at my office.

Ebay gets special, LOWER, shipping rates from USPS, FedX, and UPS
than you or I can get if we just visit these delivery services in
person.

So, when I'm notified of an order, I buy the labels from eBay at
their preferred shipping rates,  and when I do, that starts the
tracking of the package within eBay's system.

Ebay rates sellers on a number of metrics including how fast an
item is delivered, customer feedback, returns, etc.

I see this rediscovered source of sales and repeat business
adding an extra six-figures to my income THIS year... because I
am very disciplined, and can follow instructions from those who
are already doing what I want to do ;-)

Stay tuned for more, less complicated, ways to make a "decent"
income by leveraging internet technology!

Thanks for being a subscriber :-)
