The Power Of One In The Battle For Attention!
Published: Fri, 01/12/24
Imagine... it had been a few years since you’d been waving your
arms around in a nightclub to loud music and flashing lights.
As much as you enjoyed the dancing part, you hated talking to
people because the music was so damn loud.
Asking for a drink at the bar resulted in you and the bartender
leaning forward and shouting directly into each other's ears…
and still not being heard.
It could take several attempts to order a simple bottle of beer.
You'd be grateful if you weren’t one of those people who drank
cocktails or mixed drinks. You'd never have gotten served if you
were. 🙂
Too much noise means that it's hard to make yourself heard, and
when people cannot hear you over the noise… you don't get what
you want.
And that my friend… is a perfect analogy for how people
struggle with advertising online today.
Ad online get drowned out by the noise created by the sheer
volume of all the other ads, videos, text posts, and photos.
It's never-ending !
Whenever you go online and visit a social media platform or a
website - the news ones are the worst - unless it is a dedicated
sales page, you are aggressively bombarded with all kinds of
‘extra’ media marketing messages.
Many of them annoyingly ‘pop up’ in front of the content you
are trying to enjoy.
As an advertiser or marketer, it can be a nightmare trying to get
your message heard by people because you're competing in the
battle for attention.
Just like ordering a beer at the bar in a loud nightclub,
shouting over the 'boom boom boom' of dance music, the server
struggles to hear you.
For the best result, you want to deliver your message to people
in a calm and isolated manner.
They need to be able to read your marketing message without the
distraction of numerous other ‘shiny new objects’ vying for
attention. You're looking for 'exclusivity' when it comes to your
prospect's attention.
People do not make the best decisions when distracted - if at
all.
We’d never consider making important life-changing decisions in
a nightclub surrounded by people dancing to head-splitting music
and seizure-inducing flashing lights.
It's just not the right environment for decision-making.
Calmness of mind and full attention are what you need, and you
get that when a person has only your marketing message to focus
on and nothing else.
And I honored show you just the system to do that.

P.S. In a fast-paced world where there is a multitude of things
going on every second of each day, you want to focus on ‘the
power of one’.
This means focusing your efforts on the environment where the
only distraction for your potential customer at that specific
time… is your marketing message.
Master this and there IS no battle for attention :-)
