CRITICAL Update For Anyone Using Broadcast Emails!

Published: Wed, 01/17/24

Hi ,

Beginning February 1st, Yahoo and Gmail are going to make it VERY
difficult to get your email broadcasts through unless you have
proper DKIM and DMARC set up for the domain names that you send
your broadcast "From."  I imagine many others, like AOHell will
do the same.

Aweber, whom I've probably been using as my autoresponder service
for around 15, has long emphasized the importance of using an
email address from your own domain rather than one of the free
email providers such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc.

I've long used a Gmail account for many things, and even have
many emails from email addresses using my domain names forwarded
to my Gmail account.  I do that because I find it simpler to
process email if I have it all going to one place, and I like a
lot of the features of Gmail... except that fact that Google
'Parses" your emails.  I'm not certain how or what part of your
emails they parse, but they certainly know what ads to feed into
your email inboxes!

I DO have proper DKIM and DMARC records set up and verified for
many of my domain names... but still need to take care of it for
a few more.

Anyway, here's a webinar that Aweber did TODAY, explaining how to
set things up properly:

If you publish a broadcast email newsletter you DO need to PAY
ATTENTION to this unless you just want your emails to be sent off
to some black hole in cyberspace, never to reach your subscribers
inboxes.

By the way, if you don't have an Aweber account, you can get a
Free starter account here:
https://www.aweber.com/easy-email.htm?id=482473

If you click on the link labeled "Pricing" on that page, you'll
see that the free account does come with some limitations,
including that you are limited to only 500 subscribers.  However,
if you use good email "Best Practices" and treat your subscribers
the way that you'd expect to be treated, by the time that you hit
500 subscribers, you should easily be able to afford a paid
account, which starts at $12.50 per month if billed annually, and
$14.95 per month if billed monthly.

To your success,
Willie Crawford
