Often, when there are new products launching, the product
owners will run affiliate sales contests, awarding some
fairly nice prizes to top producing affiliates.   As a 
result, professional affiliates like myself have studied
how to win these sales contest for YEARS.

What I've discovered is that the two most important factors
are:

1) Make sure that you are promoting a really solid product
that produces the RESULTS promised for your customers!
Otherwise, you'll just get a bunch of refunds, and lose the 
trust of your customers, making the whole thing a losing
proposition.

2)  Your potential customers are often on numerous email lists,
and when they notice the launch being hyped up, they “bonus shop.”
They know that they are getting the same core product no matter
who they purchase from, so they begin looking around to see who
is offering the very best, most useful bonus package.

Over the years (decades), I've offered many terrific bonuses, and 
placed in the top 10 for numerous affiliate sales contest. So, I know
what works.

At the same time, I know that if I offer the wrong bonus, then
the personal time involved, or the out of pocket expense involved
in fulfilling that bonus can eat up all of the commissions earned
from selling the affiliate product in the first place.  There ARE
some affiliates that get so wrapped up in the competition that
