Please Join Me In A 30 Day Gratitude Challenge...

As I have posted about a lot lately, I feel that it's very
important to look at all of the things that we have to be
grateful for.
Sure, many of us face challenges, and our lives are not perfect,
but most of us have it better than 95% of people on planet earth.
We can argue numbers, but I can point out so many things that you
and I have that most others don't.
In many places just clean drinking water is not available... so
people die from drinking the local polluted water!
There are places where there is famine, and since there is not
enough food to go around, parents actually have to CHOOSE which
child they will feed and keep alive.
Others are ravaged by many frightful diseases, such as cancer.
I had a friend recently deal with surgery for a brain tumor.
Fortunately, it wasn't cancer, so he just had to deal with
staples in his head for a little while... and I told him how
happy I was for him :-)
At age 60, I've lost the brothers born roughly 2 years before and
2 years after me... they both died at age 45. God chose to keep
me around for some reason.
As we in the U.S. approach Thanksgiving Day (my Canadian friends
jumped ahead by over a month), I asked myself, "What am I
grateful for (what do I give thanks for)?"
My answer is that most of us, if not all of us have people in our
lives that we are thankful for.
So, I'm reaching out to them every day and telling them that I
appreciate them.
I'm doing it primarily by sending them a greeting card, with a
message as simple as, "I'm glad that you are a part of my life,"
or, "Thanks for all that you've done to help make the world a
better place."
I do this using an internet-based system that I've been using
since 2004, but you can do it any way that you choose.
I DO encourage you to check out, and maybe use the system that I
use, which you'll find at: http://TheCardThingy.com
If you want to join me in just expressing gratitude, and letting
those in your life know how much they mean, feel free to send me
a private message, and I'll give you some suggestions and tools.
Regardless though, at least stop and ask your what you are
grateful for today!
Just looking at all of the things in your life that you have to
be grateful for WILL shift your mood and life MASSIVELY.
I'm taking/making the challenge 30 days because after 30 days
you'll be so very changed!
If you do take the 30 day challenge, and just send a card every
day, let me know, and I'll send you a gift. What that gift is
will depend upon who you are, and what you are all about. So,
you have to let me know a little about yourself.
Live with an attitude of gratitude :-)
In gratitude for having you as a part of my life,
Willie
