Here's A Quick JV - Product Launch And Product Source Tip...

With most of the JV product launches that I've observed or taken 
part in for the past 10 year had affiliate sales contest. 

Some of these sales contest offered some VERY nice prizes, and I've 
won my share of them.

The biggest non-secret to winning those sales contests is to offer a
great bonus gift, or bonus package.  That's because many prospective 
customers know that lots of affiliate will be promoting and competing 
for prizes.

So, your customers "bonus shop."  They look around and buy from whoever 
offers what seems like the best bonus... based upon their needs.

The thing is that you don't need to spend a lot of time and effort 
putting together a really great bonus package.

Instead, you can go to the same site that I do and pick out 2, 3 or even 
10 products that members have resale rights to.   I often  offer video 
courses, perhaps combined with a bonus webinar, private consultations, or 
I've even recorded unique interview products for my customers (with them
interviewing me or me interviewing them).

The bonuses that I off depends upon what the product is that I'm selling, 
how much the commission is per sale, and I also look at what other 
affiliates have already committed to promoting.

The reason that I look at who else is promoting is that some super 
affiliates go really overboard in these contests.  They'll sometimes 
give away bonuses that equal or exceed their commissions... just because 
they want the bragging rights... to say that they were at the top of the 
leaderboard.  

There are so many products launches these days, that I sometimes choose 
not to compete with these overly competitive affiliates :-)
