When I was growing up on the farm, in a very poor
community, I learned how to bring in some extra
quick cash via a side hustle.
These were little, extra things that people did
to help them "make ends meet" when they often had
more month than money.
Many of us raised pigs because feeding them was
fairly inexpensive, they had large litters,
they grew fast, and there was a ready market.
I myself raised pigs, chicken and rabbits. In

had to sell. Many of the city folks didn't
have the land to grow the produce that we did,

Today, I have small fruit trees, and other plants
growing in my backyard. I grow them because I
find it enjoyable and relaxing. At the same
time, I grow so many plants that I do often sell
them. Right now, I have over 100 loquat trees
that I plan to sell within the next week :-)
