Hurricanes And Domains...

Published: Sun, 06/07/20

Several years ago, I owned a series of blogs
named after various hurricanes.

In the midst of the Atlantic Hurricane Season
those blogs made me a small fortune. Back then,
I ran Google AdSense ads on my blogs.

Several times per day, I'd visit one of the
U.S. government websites which frequently
provides updates, COPY the latest updates, and
add them to my blogs.

People looking for the latest updates would
visit my blog named after the storm of interest,
and as they visited they would notice the ads
that Google was showing them.

Whenever a visitor to one of my hurricane blogs
clicked on an ad, Google PAID ME a few pennies.

Many days those few pennies added up to hundreds
of dollars.

A very simple concept... make it easy for people
to find the information that they are looking for,
allow Google to show them ads for relevant products,
and get paid for being a content aggregator :-)

I share this story with you because at this very
moment Tropical Storm Cristobal in tracking across
the Gulf of Mexico, and expected to be categorized
as a hurricane by the time it reaches the U.S.
Gulf Coast.

YOU could very easily set up a website that provides
the latest weather updates, and by helping people
who simply want to keep current, you could earn
some nice commissions too.

There are lots of other ways you could profit from
such blogs to include pointing out places to get
emergency supplies, generators, open hotel rooms,
etc... and you could use affiliate links to point
out most of these resources.

Why not take a look of the domain names available
here, which includes 21 that are hurricane-related:

Take a look now because I don't expect the
hurricane-related domain names to last long!

Stay safe out there,
