Hi ,

What allows a person to make that leap?

What allows a person to escape from a place of poverty, crime,
grime, hopelessness, depression and despair, moving to a "place"
of hope, climbing out of poverty, and finding a sense of PURPOSE?

NO... I've never been a drug dealer, although I've been offered
the opportunity to be a middleman.  I actually considered it...
discussed it with a kingpin... and then politely declined.

I've never really been homeless, although I've been kicked out by
landlords and found myself sleeping inside my car... several
times.

I've never been a lot of things, but I have found myself
addicted, depressed... even suicidal, and feeling bewildered,
disenfranchised, and somewhat betrayed by life itself.

TODAY, I know homeless people, drug dealers, prostitutes, cops,
priest, lawyers, people who KNOW that they are dying, school
teachers, politicians, entrepreneurs, dreamers, doers,
multimillionaires and billionaires... even the puppet masters.

What is IT that allows a person to wake up, discover "the
secret," gain some hope, develop the determination to CHANGE
their predicament, and then to take massive, concerted action.

What allows a person to move from RESIGNATION and just accepting
their lot in life... impoverished, in poor health, headed for a
slow painful death and/or incarceration, to one of DOGGED
determination, taking PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for ones heath and
all factors of ones life, and refusing to give up before things
CHANGE?

Who Knows?
