Hi ,

If you're anything like me, you want to someday
largely retire from "HAVING TO" work, and have 
time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

You don't want to be a Walmart greeter when you're
85.

I'm not knocking Walmart greeters, and the job 
probably gives some of them a lot of satisfaction.

I just wouldn't want to be STUCK... needing
that money “just to make ends meet."

At age 61, I'm much more fortunate than MOST
Americans. I spent 20+ years in the USAF, and that
earned me a retirement pension... and other benefits.
  
I also paid into the U.S. Social Security system since
around the age of 10, and starting next year, I will be 
eligible for a pension there... and eligible for Medicare
a little later on.   

Those already-EARNED pensions would be  enough to live 
on as long as I didn't want to live too lavishly.

Actually, they are enough to live quite lavishly in the
Philippines, where my wife and I are SERIOUSLY
discussing building a second home.

I mentioned it to her today while we was out tending our
vegetable garden, and she immediately started describing
the house SHE envisioned.  

We may need to have a little talk there :-)

I've also been steadily building my online businesses
since 1996, and didn't foolishly blow everything that I 
earned.

STILL, I want MORE out of life and some of that MORE
requires more money.   I imagine that's where I'm
most like you.

I DO want more... mostly so that I can help OTHERS 
through a couple of pet projects... so I tell myself that I'm 
not  totally GREEDY :-)

The thing is that there are quite LITERALLY hundreds
of ways to make a living online.  In fact, there are
so many that MOST people that I've discussed the topic
with seem to have trouble CHOOSING a business model.

They suffer from "shiny object syndrome" where, as 
soon as they focus on something that sounds like 
the perfect business for them, they see something
else that sounds "faster," "easier," "better!"

They suffer from something that even people who 
aren't looking to start a business suffer from.  It's
a very common and "natural" human malady.

It's known a FOMO! 

Fear Of Missing Out!

So, let me cure you of both of these problems
right here and right now!

There are just too many things in this world for 
you to know about everything, and take advantage
of every LOGICAL opportunity...

So you ARE going to miss out on somethings!

LIVE with that fact since you really have little
other choice :-)

Next, let's get you over that shiny object syndrome.

Part of it is just fearing that we haven't made
the correct decision.  That keeps many people from
making ANY decision.

Sadly, it keeps many others who HAVE made a decision
from sticking with it long enough to see results. 

Most things that you can do to start your own business
WILL take TIME and concerted EFFORT on your part.

You will need to choose a course of action, and
then follow through until you actually see results.

Having been a military office responsible for numerous
LIVES and hundreds of millions of dollars at times,
and having built and run numerous small companies
of my own, I AM very good at making and following 
through with decisions.

HOWEVER, before I make any major decisions, and
even some minor decisions, I talk them over with
a trusted friend or adviser. 

I typically bounce ideas and decisions off of 
several people... or brainstorm them in a group or
mastermind.  

ONLY after I've allowed trusted people to offer
me the benefit of their perspective and experience
do I make major decisions.
